LAUBURU

A symbol that represents the Sun and is common to several mythologies: from the Far East to the Basque Country.

It is known as the 'Basque cross' and to this day it is still present in pieces of goldsmith's work or on engraved stone slabs that are placed in the houses of farmhouses.

A Lauburu drives away evil and connects with light, with the sun, with the forces of nature on which the ancient Basques based their existence.
